Lakeview holiday cottages lie nestled between the Taunton to Bridgwater canal and our very own twelve acre lake, located in the village of Huntworth, close to the Somerset Levels.  This secluded haven among the beautiful countryside provides the perfect base from which to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of rural Somerset whatever the season.

The serenity, scenery and seclusion belie the easy accessibility to the excellent transport links, being only a short distance from Junction 24 of the M5 and the A38, Bristol International airport is less than thirty minutes drive and the nearby train station at Bridgwater offers links to all major rail networks.

Getting out and about couldn’t be easier and offers a wealth of attractions for guests of all ages, the beaches of Weston-Super-Mare, Minehead, Lyme Regis are all just a short journey away, as are golf courses, walking and cycle trails, canals, historic churches and abbeys.  For those keen to enjoy a little retail therapy, Cribbs Causeway and Clarks Shopping Village are reachable within forty minutes, alternatively if you enjoy meandering through small boutiques, craft shops and farmers markets, Taunton,  Wells,  Bath, Clifton Village, Beer and Dunster, (just to mention a few) will not disappoint.  The rural treasures of Exmoor, the Quantock Hills and the Mendips are all close by.    

This stunning development of newly built luxury holiday self catering homes offer contemporary and stylish accommodation, our kitchens are fitted with solid oak kitchen units, granite worktops, quality appliances and a full range of cookware and crockery .  Throughout the rest of the property, you will find quality bathroom fitments, beautiful silk curtains, sumptuous thick pile carpets, high grade Egyptian bedding and softy fluffy towels.  Each property is equipped with 32” LCD freeview televisions, DVD players and Hi-Fi systems, and have unlimited access to wireless Wi-fi.  Highchairs and cots are available.  In fact great care has been taken by the Notaro family, whose business success has been built upon quality workmanship and attention to detail, to  consider your every need.

In addition, two of our properties have been adapted for those with mobility issues, including lowered worktops and wet rooms.  We have ample parking, secure undercover storage for bicycles and fishing equipment, a separate space for drying off outdoor clothing and footwear. 

Externally, we offer extensive landscaped gardens, scented planting surrounding private eating areas, illuminated gazebo’s from which to enjoy the late night views, leafy lakeside walks,  a children’s wooden play area, access to the canal tow path and stunning open grassland. A late night stroll is highly recommended, where the mingling smell of the honeysuckle and clematis and the moonlit lake transform the gardens into a magical wonderland.
