Exmoor National Park
Situated in the south west of Britain, Exmoor National Park contains an amazing variety of landscapes within its 267 square miles . Where high cliffs plunge into the Bristol Channel, and cosy pubs and tearooms offer delicious local produce. Whilst in the area take a trip to the ancient Tarr Steps which are a clapper bridge across the River Barle. Tarr Steps is a well-known visitor attraction but the beautiful wooded valley of the River Barle is also worth exploring for its wildlife. Combined with the heathland of Winsford Hill and its wild ponies, this makes a varied walk.

Haynes Motor Museum
After a £5m redevelopment, the museum will give you an unparalleled opportunity to get up close and explore the history, designs and technologies of motoring from around the world. The cars range from the biggest, most exotic and oldest, to the fastest, most famous and most valuable.
Work has been done to restore the mill so that it is a working mill. Among the many traditional trades and crafts displayed are the wheelwright’s shop, transported from Devon and preserved exactly as it was left on the day the owner shut up shop, and the equally authentic Blacksmith’s shop. Another aspect of the Mill and Rural Life Museum presentations are the models depicting the many types of mills that exist plus various scenic displays and some 30 carriages and wagons.
