When Is the Cricket World Cup 2019?
The Cricket World Cup officially starts in London on the 30th May, with an exciting England vs South Africa match. Fixtures will continue during the summer, finishing on Sunday the 14th of July.
Where Is the Cricket World Cup 2019?
All fixtures will be held here in the UK. The games will take place across the country, including London, Birmingham, Southampton, Cardiff, Nottingham, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds, Chester-le-street and Taunton, Somerset.
The County Ground in Taunton will be hosting three ICC Cricket World Cup Matches:
- Afghanistan v New Zealand, Saturday June 8th
- Pakistan v Australia, Wednesday June 12th
- West Indies v Bangladesh, Monday June 17th

How Do I Get There?
Start planning your travel to the Men’s Cricket World Cup in Somerset now! The County Ground in Taunton is situated close the town centre and just a handy half mile from the Taunton train station.
Traffic may be hectic on the day of the matches and there will be no parking available at the venue. We advise taking the official walking route from Taunton Station to the County Ground, set by the event’s organisers. For additional safety, the route will be staffed by official World Cup Cricketeers.
Alternatively, there will also be a Park and Ride service available. The times will be confirmed at the start of 2019.
How Much Are Cricket World Cup Tickets?
Tickets first went on sale in the summer, but there are still a few remaining! Cricket World Cup prices for the Taunton games can range from £20 – £125. Avoid ticket scams by visiting the official ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 ticketing site.
