Now that you know what you don’t need to bring with you, here are our top tips for you to consider before you set off to stay with us in Somerset:
- If you are relying on a sat nav to get to your self-catering accommodation in Somerset then it can be a good idea to also print out the journey or take a road map with you incase your sat nav breaks or you lose the charger.
- Whilst we provide bath towels you could bring some additional towels for the beach, swimming or incase the kids get mucky if you go for a walk (you can cover the car seats with your spare towels.)
- Bring your laptop! As we have unlimited WiFi you can use the internet during your stay; this is great for researching places to go and finding out about the latest Somerset events. Of course you can also talk to one of us at Lakeview for things to do too!
- Pre order your food with us before you arrive and it’ll be placed in your chosen holiday accommodation the day you arrive. Save those few hours food shopping and go for a walk or take advantage of sitting back and relaxing.
- Finally pack clothes for both cold and hot weather. Whilst the UK weather is fairly predictable if you get a spot of sunshine you don’t want to be walking around in your thermal fleece! Neither do you want to be out in the snow in a pair of shorts.
